Blog Entry: The goal of The Goodwill Tennis Tours is to strengthen Philippine tennis by increasing the number of qualified tennis instructors in the Philippines to go out to the grassroots and teach the modern game of tennis. The tennis professionals and myself are volunteering our time and expertise to the peope of the Philippines. For my next tennis program in 2009, we will again be doing USPTA Certification ( http://www.uspta.org/index .cfm?MenuItemID=1634&MenuG roup=New%2DUSPTA%2DEducati on ), Recreational Coaches Workshops ( http://www.usta.com/?sc_it emid=6563eac3-a117-464d-b7 70-09f2630a8fe9 ) and tennis clinics for children and juniors. If we have extra time we wll do an elite junior tennis camp at The Subic Bay International Tennis Center. I was born in the U.S. but all my life I have been embraced by the loving arms of the Filipino culture. The Goodwill Tennis is my way of honoring my parents and giving back to the country and people I have great affection and respect.
