In celebration and in the spirit of the I-Hotel, Chinatown Community Development Center, International Hotel Senior Housing Inc., and Manilatown Heritage Foundation have developed a survey to generate ideas and a vision for the exterior face of the new I-Hotel. The mural will occupy a 20 x 20 foot section of the Hotel facing Kearny Street. To view the surface that will hold the art, please go to http://flickr.com/photos/emanistan/2187117862/. After the surveys are completed, we will review the comments and ideas gathered and offer them to interested artists to develop concepts and proposals for the exterior artwork. A final artist will be chosen in Fall 2008.
